Test C (Brake Circuit Open Test)

  1. Check for continuity at brake release switch and clutch release switch (if equipped) terminals. Continuity should be present when pedals are not depressed. Replace if faulty.
  2. Check for opens in Brown wire or Gray wire between brake release switch and cruise control module connector terminals "G" and "A", respectively. See Figure . On M/T vehicles, also check for opens in Brown/White wire between brake and clutch release switches.
