Code A063 - Right Front Motor Circuit Shorted To Battery: Notes

This test identifies motor circuit that is shorted to battery, or motor with low or no resistance. Fault will not allow motor to be controlled at requested current rate, cause it to rotate in opposite direction or cause it to be inoperative.

NOTE: Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart.
  1. This step checks for short to battery in motor high circuit.
  2. This step checks for short to battery in motor low circuit.
  3. This step checks for motor internally shorted.
  4. This step releases motor pack tension before removal.
