Code A052 - Left Front Channel In Release Too Long: Notes

This test is designed to detect a motor that is energized too long. This will occur if wheel speed sensor is defective, motor does not turn, left front solenoid is open or motor wires are crossed.

NOTE: Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart.
  1. This step determines if a problem exists in wheel speed sensor that may cause system to be in release too long.
  2. This step identifies a motor fault or channel circuit being wired incorrectly.
  3. This step checks for open solenoid.
  4. This step determines if hydraulic failure is due to solenoid or hydraulic modulator.
  5. This step releases motor pack tension prior to removal.
