Code A013 - Abs Warning Indicator Open Or Shorted To Battery: Notes
If warning light control circuit is shorted to battery, or EBCM control circuit is open, EBCM will not be able to turn off ANTI-LOCK warning light.
NOTE:
Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart.
- This step checks if warning light is functioning properly.
- When ignition is turned off, voltage to light driver module should be interrupted. If warning light remains on, a short to battery exists in circuit.
- After removing 10-amp gauge fuse, voltage on circuit No. 852 (White wire) should be eliminated. If voltage is still present, there is a short to battery between light driver module and EBCM.
