Code A013 - Abs Warning Indicator Open Or Shorted To Battery: Notes

If warning light control circuit is shorted to battery, or EBCM control circuit is open, EBCM will not be able to turn off ANTI-LOCK warning light.

NOTE: Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart.
  1. This step checks if warning light is functioning properly.
  2. When ignition is turned off, voltage to light driver module should be interrupted. If warning light remains on, a short to battery exists in circuit.
  3. After removing 10-amp gauge fuse, voltage on circuit No. 852 (White wire) should be eliminated. If voltage is still present, there is a short to battery between light driver module and EBCM.
