Power Circuit Open Test

  1. Check CLUST fuse. Check that cruise control module terminal "J" is grounded. Check circuit No. 151 (Black wire) for an open circuit. Ensure engine ground is clean and tight.
  2. Backprobe Pink/Black and Gray wire connector, behind left side of instrument cluster near steering column and check for battery voltage at Pink/Black wire with ignition switch in RUN position. If battery voltage is not present, check and/or repair Pink/Black wire from fuse box to cruise control switch.
  3. With cruise switch ON, check for continuity between Pink/Black and Gray wires. If switch is open, replace multifunction lever. Check for an open in Gray wire and terminal "A" of cruise control module connector.
