Cruise Control Cable

NOTE: DO NOT stretch cable assembly to secure a particular tab hole. If cable is stretched, engine will not return to idle speed.

With cable installed in cable brackets, install cable end to throttle linkage. On 3.4L engines, rotate idler pulley and insert cable slug into idler pulley slot. Route other end of cable through retaining clip. On all other engines, install cable end over throttle lever pin and secure with retainer. On all engines, pull servo end of cable toward servo without moving throttle lever. If a servo tab hole aligns with cable pin, connect pin to tab with retainer. If a hole does not align with pin, move cable away from servo until next closest tab hole does align. Connect pin to tab with retainer.
