Fuel Pump Volume Check

  1. Test fuel pump volume by connecting hose from TBI fuel feed line to a suitable unbreakable container. See Fig 1. Apply battery voltage to the fuel pump test terminal. See Figure for test terminal location.
  2. Verify the volume is within specifications. See FUEL PUMP PRESSURE/VOLUME SPECIFICATIONS TABLE.

Application Specification
Pressure 9.0-13.0 PSI (.63-.91 kg/cm2 )
Volume .5 Pint (.25L) in 15 Seconds
(1) Specifications are valid at any engine speed or load.
