Action Taken

Disengage cruise control.

Code E65 will detect a cruise control servo position sensor shorted to ground. Cruise servo position sensor is a potentiometer that changes resistance with servo position. Code E65 sets when ECM detects a low voltage indicating a short to ground in cruise servo position sensor circuit.
