These automatic temperature controls are used with same basic refrigeration and air conditioner systems ("Custom" air conditioner) as furnished for these same car models and provide rapid heating or cooling of the car to a selected temperature (65°F - 85°F as set on temperature dial) and automatically maintains this temperature without further adjustment of the controls. The systems provide cooling or heating (or combination of both) as required to maintain the desired in-car temperature regardless of outside air temperature in accordance with temperature dial setting and control level or pushbutton position.
