Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK INTELLIGENT KEY SYSTEM (REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY FUNCTION) 

    Press the LOCK button of Intelligent Key.

    Are all doors LOCKED?

    YES

    GO TO 2.

    NO

    Check Intelligent Key system (remote keyless entry function). Refer to System Description .

  2. CHECK HOOD SWITCH 

    Check hood switch. Refer to Component Function Check .

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    GO TO 3.

    NO

    Replace hood lock assembly. Refer to Removal and Installation .

  3. REPLACE BCM 

    Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation .

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    INSPECTION END

    NO

    Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident .
