Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK DTC IN ECM
CONSULT
Check "Self Diagnostic Results" in "ENGINE".
Are any DTC detected?
YES
Check DTC detected item. Refer to DTC Index .
NO
GO TO 2.
- CHECK DTC IN COMBINATION METER
Check "Self Diagnostic Results" in "METER/M&A".
Is any DTC detected?
YES
Check DTC detected item. Refer to DTC Index Combination meter (Type A) or DTC Index Combination meter (Type B).
NO
GO TO 3.
- CHECK COMBINATION METER
- Select "Data Monitor" in "METER/M&A".
- Check that "ECO MODE IND" turns ON/OFF when ECO mode switch is operated. Refer to Values on the Diagnosis Tool Combination meter (Type A) or Values on the Diagnosis Tool Combination meter (Type B).
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace combination meter. Refer to Removal and Installation Combination meter (Type A) or Removal and Installation Combination meter (Type B).
NO
GO TO 4.
- CHECK ECO MODE SWITCH SYSTEM
Check ECO mode switch system. Refer to Component Function Check .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Inspection End.
NO
Repair or replace malfunctioning components.
