ID Registration With Transmitter Activation Tool

With the ignition switch in OFF position, connect CONSULT scan tool to the Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition switch to ON position.
Select "ID REGIST" under BCM, then select "Start".
With the Transmitter Activation Tool (J-45295) pushed against the front left transmitter tire air valve, press the button for 5 seconds. See Fig 1.

Register the IDs in the order specified in the Tire Registration Order table. When ID registration of each wheel has been completed, a buzzer sounds as indicated in the table, the hazard warning lights or turn signal indicators flash twice, and the indictor light on the Activation Tool goes from red to green.

NOTE: Be sure to register the IDs in the specified order, or the self-diagnostic results display will not function properly.

⁽¹⁾	2008 models only. From 2009 onwards, the buzzer is eliminated.

After completing all ID registrations, press "END" to complete the procedure.
