Removal And Installation: Removal

CAUTION:
  • Remove battery terminal and AV control unit after a lapse of 30 seconds or more after turning the ignition switch OFF.
  • Before replacing display control unit, perform "READ CONFIGURATION" to save current vehicle specification. Refer to DESCRIPTION .
  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  2. Remove cluster lid D. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Remove the display control unit screws, then pull out the display control unit and bracket.
  4. Disconnect harness connector from the display control unit, then remove the display control unit and bracket.
  5. Remove the display control unit brackets screws and the display control unit from the display control unit bracket (if necessary).
