Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to WIRING DIAGRAM .

  1. CHECK POWER WINDOW SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL

    1. Turn ignition switch ON.
    2. Check signal between power window main switch harness connector and ground with oscilloscope.
      (+) (-) Signal
      (Reference value)
      Power window main switch
      Connector Terminal
      D7 3 Ground

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    GO TO STEP 4  .

    NO 

    GO TO STEP 2  .

  2. CHECK POWER WINDOW SERIAL LINK SIGNAL

    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect power window main switch connector.
    3. Turn ignition switch ON.
    4. Check voltage between power window main switch harness connector and ground.
      (+) (-) Voltage
      (Approx.)
      Power window main switch
      Connector Terminal
      D7 3 Ground 12

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    Replace power window main switch. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

    NO 

    GO TO STEP 3  .

  3. CHECK POWER WINDOW SERIAL LINK CIRCUIT

    1. Disconnect the main power window and door lock/unlock switch connector and the power window and door lock/unlock switch RH connector.
    2. Check continuity between the main power window and door lock/unlock switch harness connector D7 and the power window and door lock/unlock switch RH harness connector D105.

      D7 3 D105 12 Yes

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    GO TO 4.

    NO 

    Repair or replace harness.

  4. CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT

    Refer to INTERMITTENT INCIDENT .

    Inspection End.
