Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK INPUT 1 - 5 CIRCUIT FOR OPEN 
    1. Turn power switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect BCM connector M24 and combination switch connector.
    3. Check continuity between BCM connector M24 and combination switch connector M27.

      INPUT 2 35 9
      INPUT 3 34 7
      INPUT 4 33 10
      INPUT 5 32 13

    Is the inspection result normal? 

    YES: GO TO 2.

    NO: Repair or replace harness or connectors.

  2. CHECK INPUT 1 - 5 CIRCUIT FOR SHORT 

    Check for continuity between BCM connector M24 and ground.

    INPUT 2 35
    INPUT 3 34
    INPUT 4 33
    INPUT 5 32

    Is the inspection result normal? 

    YES: Repair or replace harness or connectors.

    NO: GO TO 3.

  3. CHECK BCM OUTPUT VOLTAGE 
    1. Connect BCM connector M24.
    2. Check voltage between BCM connector M24 and ground.

      OUTPUT 1 M24 36 Refer to "REFERENCE VALUE ".

      OUTPUT 3 34
      OUTPUT 4 33
      OUTPUT 5 32

    Is the inspection result normal? 

    YES: Replace combination switch. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".

    NO: Replace BCM. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
