Overall Function Check
- CHECK ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE (EOT) SENSOR
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect EOT sensor harness connector.
- Remove EOT sensor. Refer to , "COMPONENT ".
- Check resistance between EOT sensor terminals by heating with hot water as shown in the figure.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 2.
NO: Go to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".
- CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Check intermittent incident. Refer to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: INSPECTION END
NO: Go to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".
