Steering Switch Check (Without Bluetooth)

- AUDIO UNIT SELF-DIAGNOSIS MODE CHECK
- Start audio unit self-diagnosis mode. Refer to "SELF-DIAGNOSIS MODE ".
- Operate steering switch.
Does steering switch operate normally?
YES: Inspection End.
NO: GO TO 2.
- CHECK HARNESS
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect audio unit connector M43 and spiral cable connector M30.
- Check continuity between audio unit connector terminal and spiral cable connector terminal.CONNECTOR TERMINAL CONTINUITY SPECIFICATION

OK or NG
OK: GO TO 3.
NG: Repair harness.
- SPIRAL CABLE CHECK
- Disconnect spiral cable connector M78.
- Check continuity between spiral cable terminals.
15 - 33 : Continuity should exist.
17 - 31 : Continuity should exist.
19 - 25 : Continuity should exist.
OK or NG
OK: GO TO 4.
NG: Replace spiral cable. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
- CHECK STEERING SWITCH RESISTANCE
Check resistance between spiral cable connector M102 terminals.

NG: Replace steering switch. Refer to "STEERING WHEEL AUDIO CONTROL SWITCHES ".
