Control Valve And TCM Removal And Installation: Removal

- Disconnect negative battery terminal.
- Drain A/T fluid. Refer to "A/T FLUID ".
- Disconnect A/T assembly harness connector.
- Remove snap ring from A/T assembly harness connector.
- Push A/T assembly harness connector.CAUTION: Do not damage connector.
- Remove oil pan and oil pan gasket. Refer to "REMOVAL ".
- Straighten the terminal clip to free the terminal cord assembly for A/T fluid temperature sensor 2 harness.
- Disconnect A/T fluid temperature sensor 2 connector.
- Straighten terminal clip to free the revolution sensor harness.
- Disconnect revolution sensor connector.CAUTION: Do not damage connector.
- Remove bolts (A), (B) and (C) from control valve with TCM.BOLT LENGTH CHART

- Remove A/T fluid temperature sensor 2 with bracket from control valve with TCM.
- Remove bracket from A/T fluid temperature sensor 2.
- Remove O-ring from A/T assembly harness connector.
- Disconnect TCM connectors.CAUTION: Do not damage connectors.
- Remove A/T assembly harness connector from control valve with TCM using suitable tool.
- Disconnect TCM connector and park/neutral position switch connectorCAUTION: Do not damage connectors.
