ECM Circuit Inspection

CHECK CONNECTOR
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
3. Check following terminals and connector of damage, bend and loose connection (control module side and harness side).
  - M/T models
    - ECM connector
    - Harness connector F102
    - Harness connector M72
  - A/T models
    - ECM connector
OK or NG
- OK: GO TO 2.
- NG: Repair terminal or connector.

CHECK HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT

Disconnect ECM connector.
Check resistance between ECM harness connector terminals.

ECM CONNECTOR TERMINAL RESISTANCE CHART

ECM connector	Terminal		Resistance (Approx.)
F108	94	86	108 - 132 ohm

OK or NG

OK: Replace ECM.
NG:
- M/T models
  - Repair harness between ECM and VDC/TCS/ABS control unit.
- A/T models
  - Repair harness between ECM and A/T assembly.
