Door Mirror Remote Control Switch (Mirror Switch) Circuit Check

CHECK DOOR MIRROR REMOTE CONTROL SWITCH (MIRROR SWITCH) SIGNAL
With CONSULT-II

Check the operation on "MIR CON SW-UP/DN" and "MIR CON SW-RH/LH" in the DATA MONITOR.

Without CONSULT-II
1. Turn ignition switch to ACC position.
2. Mirror switch operate, check voltage between automatic drive positioner control unit connector and ground.

OK or NG
1. OK : Door mirror remote control switch (mirror switch) circuit is OK.
2. NG : GO TO 2.
CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect automatic drive positioner control unit and door mirror remote control switch connector.
3. Check continuity between automatic drive positioner control unit connector M49 terminal 3, 4, 19, 20 and door mirror remote control switch connector M18 terminal 4, 5, 6, 14.
  1. 3 (GY) - 6 (GY) : Continuity should exist.
  2. 4 (Y) - 5 (Y) : Continuity should exist.
  3. 19 (GY/L) - 14 (GY/L) : Continuity should exist.
  4. 20 (PU) - 4 (PU) : Continuity should exist.
4. Check continuity between automatic drive positioner control unit connector M49 terminal 3, 4, 19, 20 and ground.
  1. 3 (GY) - Ground : Continuity should not exist.
  2. 4 (Y) - Ground : Continuity should not exist.
  3. 19 (GY/L) - Ground : Continuity should not exist.
  4. 20 (PU) - Ground : Continuity should not exist.
OK or NG
1. OK : GO TO 4.
2. NG : Repair or replace harness between automatic drive positioner control unit and door mirror remote control switch.

CHECK DOOR MIRROR REMOTE CONTROL SWITCH (MIRROR SWITCH)
Mirror switch operate, check continuity between door mirror remote control switch connector M18 terminal 1, 2, 3, 4 and 7.

OK or NG
1. OK : Check the condition of the harness and the connector.
2. NG : Replace door mirror remote control switch.
