DTC Confirmation Test

NOTE: If a DTC confirmation test has been previously performed, always turn ignition OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before conducting the next test.
  1. Turn ignition on.
  2. Select DATA MONITOR mode with scan tool.
  3. Wait at least 5 seconds.
  4. If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE  . If 1st trip DTC is not detected, system is okay at this time.
