Color of RGB Image Is Not Proper (Reddish)

  1. RGB HARNESS CHECK 
    1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect NAVI control unit connector and display unit connector.
    3. Check continuity between NAVI control unit and display unit.
    4. Check continuity between NAVI control unit and ground.

    • When the screen looks reddish.
      CONTINUITY - TERMINALS SPECIFICATION

      CONTINUITY - TERMINALS SPECIFICATION

    OK or NG

    1. OK: GO TO 2.
    2. NG: Repair harness or connector.
  2. RGB SIGNAL CHECK 
    1. Connect NAVI control unit connector and display unit connector.
    2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
    3. Display "Color bar" by "CONFIRMATION/ADJUSTMENT" mode.
    4. Check the signal between NAVI control unit terminal 21 (W) and 17 with CONSULT-ll or oscilloscope.

    • When the screen looks reddish.
      VOLTAGE - TERMINALS SPECIFICATION

      M57 21 (W) M57 17 Refer to "TERMINALS AND REFERENCE VALUE FOR NAVI CONTROL UNIT ".

    OK or NG

    1. OK: Replace display unit.
    2. NG: Replace NAVI control unit.
