DTC Confirmation Test (Using CONSULT-II)

  1. Start engine and warm to normal operating temperature. Turn ignition off and wait at least 10 seconds. Turn ignition on. Select DATA MONITOR mode with CONSULT-II.
  2. Start engine and let it idle for 25 seconds. If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE . If 1st trip DTC is not detected, system is okay at this time.
