Possible Causes

Malfunction is detected when:

• DTC P0121
  
  A high voltage from TP sensor is sent to ECM under light load driving condition (malfunction "A").
• DTC P0121
  
  A low voltage from TP sensor is sent to ECM under heavy load driving condition (malfunction "B").
• DTC P0122
  
  An excessively low voltage from TP sensor is sent to ECM.
• DTC P0123
  
  An excessively high voltage from TP sensor is sent to ECM.

Possible causes are:

• TP sensor circuit open or shorted.
• Defective TP sensor.
• Defective fuel injector (malfunction "A" only).
• Defective camshaft position sensor (malfunction "A" only).
• Defective mass airflow sensor (malfunction "A" only).
• Intake air leaks (malfunction "B" only).
