Steering Switch Check (With NAVI)

- AV SWITCH SELF-DIAGNOSIS FUNCTION CHECK
- Start AV switch self-diagnosis function. Refer to "AV SWITCH SELF-DIAGNOSIS FUNCTION ".
- Operate steering switch.
Does steering switch operate normally?
YES: Inspection End.
NO: GO TO 2.
- CHECK HARNESS
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect AV switch connector M98 and spiral cable connector M30.
- Check continuity between spiral cable harness connector terminal and AV switch harness connector terminal.TERMINAL CONTINUITY CHART
Terminals Continuity Spiral cable AV switch Connector Terminal Connector Terminal A: M30 24 B: M98 12 Yes 25 13 26 14 - Check continuity between AV switch and ground.TERMINAL CONTINUITY CHART
Terminals Continuity AV switch - Connector Terminal B: M98 12 Ground No 13 14
OK or NG
OK: GO TO 3.
NG: Repair harness.
- SPIRAL CABLE CHECK
- Disconnect spiral cable connector M102.
- Check continuity between spiral cable terminals.TERMINAL CONTINUITY CHART

OK or NG
OK: GO TO 4.
NG: Replace spiral cable. Refer to "SPIRAL CABLE ".
- CHECK STEERING SWITCH RESISTANCE
Check resistance between steering switch terminals.

OK: Inspection End.
NG: Replace steering switch. Refer to "STEERING WHEEL AUDIO CONTROL SWITCHES ".
