Ignition Coil Power Source & Ground
- Disconnect 3-pin ignition coil connector. Turn ignition on. Check voltage between ground and terminal 3 of ignition coil connector. See Figure .
- Voltage should be .01-.1 volt. If voltage is not as specified, go to IGNITION COIL/POWER TRANSISTOR RESISTANCE (below). If voltage is as specified, turn ignition off. Check continuity between ground and ignition coil connector terminal No. 1.
- If continuity does not exist, repair ground circuit between ignition coil connector terminal No. 1 and ground. Repeat test for remaining coils.
