Check Components

Check carbon canister for damage or clogging. Measure resistance of EGR temp. sensor. See SYSTEM/COMPONENT TESTS - 1.6L article. Check ECM pin terminals for corrosion or damage. Repair or replace if necessary and perform FINAL CHECK .
