All Sensor Calibration (G And Yaw Rate Sensor, Steering Wheel Sensor, Brake Fluid Pressure Sensor)
CAUTION:
- Before carrying out the calibration, check that the DTC related to the steering wheel sensor, G and yaw rate sensor, or brake fluid pressure sensor is not set.
- If a DTC other than C121A, C1392, C1393, or C2002 is output to the ASC-ECU, check it according to each troubleshooting.
CAUTION:
When the ASC-ECU has been replaced, carry out the calibration to make ASC-ECU learn the neutral point of all sensor (steering wheel sensor, G and yaw rate sensor, and brake fluid pressure sensor).
NOTE:
"All sensor calibration" can perform calibration of G and yaw rate sensor, steering wheel sensor, and brake fluid pressure sensor collectively.
CAUTION:
Perform "Steering wheel sensor calibration", carry out the following two operations:
CAUTION:
- Alignment adjustment <Front>
- Column switch assembly (integrated with steering wheel sensor) replacement, removal, installation
CAUTION:
Carry out the calibration under the following conditions.
CAUTION:
- The vehicle has one occupant (driver) only.
- Turn the steering wheel to set the wheels in the straight-ahead positions.
- The brake pedal is not depressed. (The stoplight switch is OFF.)
- Park the vehicle on a level surface.CAUTION: Before connecting or disconnecting the scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position.
- Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position. Then connect the scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE) to the data link connector.
- Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
- Select "Steering angle sensor."
- Select "Special function."
- Select "SAS Calibration."
If replaced the steering wheel sensor (neutral point not learned) with a new one, go to Step 8.
NOTE: The learning status of steering wheel sensor neutral point can be confirmed by scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE) data list "Item No. 23 Steering wheel sensor calibration state". - Select "SAS Initialization."
- Select "SAS Calibration."
- Exit the "Steering angle sensor" menu screen and select "ABS/ASC/ASTC/WSS."
- Select "Special function."
- Select "Sensor calibration."
- Select "All sensor calibration."
- Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position.
- Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
- Check whether the DTC is set.
- Turn ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position. Then disconnect the scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE) to the data link connector.
