Warning Light And Automatic Cancellation Display

Condition Description Display on information display
  • When the ASC is turned OFF
  • When the SNOW mode, MUD mode or GRAVEL mode is selected
A buzzer sounds and the control is automatically canceled.
NOTE: When the condition is no longer present, turn the system OFF. Turn the ACC system back on to use the system.

  • When the ASC operates
  • When a wheel slips
A buzzer sounds and the control is automatically canceled.
NOTE: When the condition is no longer present, turn the system OFF. Turn the ACC system back on to use the system.
Unavailable Slippery Road
Parking brake is applied A buzzer sounds and the control is automatically canceled.
NOTE: After releasing the parking brake, turn the system OFF. Turn the ACC system back on to use the system.
Unavailable Parking Brake is ON
When the distance sensor is dirty, making it impossible to detect a vehicle ahead A buzzer sounds and the control is automatically canceled.
NOTE:
  • Stop the vehicle in a safe place and turn the PHEV system OFF.
  • Check to see if the distance sensor area of the front grille is blocked.
  • If the distance sensor area of the front grille is blocked, remove the blocking material.
  • After turning the PHEV system ON, press the main switch to turn the ACC system ON.

When the system is malfunctioning A buzzer sounds and the control is automatically canceled.
NOTE:
  • Stop the vehicle in a safe place.
  • After turning the PHEV system OFF, turn the PHEV system ON again, then press the main switch to turn the ACC system ON.
  • There may be a malfunction in the system if the ACC system does not go into standby mode, or if the warning message remains on the display.

Condition Description Display on information display

NOTE: When the condition is no longer present, turn the MI-PILOT Assist system OFF. Turn the system ON by pressing the main switch to use the MI-PILOT Assist system.

NOTE: When the condition is no longer present, turn the system OFF. Turn the ACC system back on to use the system.
Unavailable Slippery Road
  • When the front camera unit area of the windshield is fogged up or covered with dirt, water, drops, ice, snow, etc
  • When a strong light such as sunlight and high beam from oncoming vehicle comes into the front camera
A buzzer sounds and the control is automatically canceled.
NOTE:
  • The MI-PILOT Assist system can be used again when the condition no longer exists.
  • If the warning message continues to be displayed, stop the vehicle in a safe place, turn off the PHEV system, and clean the windshield.

Parking brake is applied A buzzer sounds and the control is automatically canceled.
NOTE: The MI-PILOT Assist system will turn OFF when you release the parking brake. Turn the system ON by pressing the main switch to use the MI-PILOT Assist system.
Unavailable Parking Brake is ON
When the driver's seat belt is not fastened A buzzer sounds and the control is automatically canceled.
NOTE: The MI-PILOT Assist system will turn OFF when the driver puts on their seat belt. Turn the system ON by pressing the main switch to use the MI-PILOT Assist system.
Unavailable Seatbelt is Unfastened
When the MI-PLOT/distance sensor is dirty and is unable to detect the preceding vehicle A buzzer sounds and the control is automatically canceled.
NOTE:
  • Stop the vehicle in a safe place and turn the PHEV system OFF.
  • Make sure the MI-PLOT/distance sensor area of the front grille is not obstructed.
  • If the MI-PLOT/distance sensor area of the front grille is obstructed, remove the obstructing object.
  • After turning the PHEV system ON, press the main switch to turn the MI-PILOT Assist system ON.

While the vehicle is stopped by the MI-PILOT Assist, the driver's door is opened but the electronic parking brake was not activated A buzzer sounds and the control is automatically canceled.
NOTE: Please step on the brake immediately
Press Brake pedal
When the system is malfunctioning A buzzer sounds and the control is automatically canceled.
NOTE:
  • Stop the vehicle in a safe place.
  • After turning the PHEV system OFF, turn the PHEV system ON again, then press the main switch to turn the MI-PILOT Assist system ON.
  • There may be a malfunction in the system if the MI-PILOT Assist system does not go into standby mode, or if the warning message remains on the display.
