Auto-Cruise Control: General Description

By using the auto-cruise control, the driver can select and maintain a desired cruising speed [between 40 km/h) (200 mph) and 200 km/h (124 mph)] without depressing the accelerator pedal.

For this auto-cruise control system, in conjunction with the electronic throttle valve control system, the powertrain control module (PCM) electronically controls the throttle valve.
