Valve Spring

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Measure the valve spring free height. If the measurement is less than specified, replace spring.
    1. Standard value: 49.5 mm (1.95 inches) 
    2. Limit: 48.5 mm (1.91 inches) 
  2. Measure the squareness of the spring. If the measurement is less than specified, replace the spring.

    1. Standard value: 2° or less 
    2. Limit: 4°
