Axle Shafts - Front - Evolution: Description
The axle shaft on wheel side uses a Eight Ball Fixed Joint (EBJ) type Constant Velocity (CV) joint on a solid metal shaft. Due to the use of the smaller size eight balls inside the joint, this features weight saving and compact size compared with Birfield Joint (BJ) type Constant Velocity (CV) joint. The axle shaft on differential side uses a Tripod Joint (TJ) type Constant Velocity (CV) joint with a solid metal shaft.
