Eclipse AWD

  1. Test "G" force sensor. See "G" FORCE SENSOR  under COMPONENT TESTS. If sensor is okay, go to next step. If sensor is faulty, replace sensor. See "G" FORCE SENSOR  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
  2. Turn ignition switch off. Disconnect ECU connector. Turn ignition switch on. Using a DVOM, check voltage between ECU connector terminal No. 6 and ground. See Figure . If battery voltage is not present, repair wiring harness between "G" force sensor and ECU. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If battery voltage is present, "G" force sensor circuit is okay. Replace faulty ECU.
