No Communication With PCM
- Check junction connectors and wiring harness between PCM and DLC terminal No. 7. If wiring and connectors are okay, go to next step. If wiring and/or connectors are damaged, repair as necessary.
- Disconnect PCM connectors. Turn ignition on. Connect a jumper wire between ground and PCM connector A-107 terminal No. 67. Check voltage between ground and PCM connector A-107 terminal No. 6. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, check ASD relay connector and wiring harness between ASD relay connector and PCM.
- Check continuity between ground and PCM connector A-106 terminal No. 10. Also, check continuity between ground and PCM connector A-107 terminals No. 47 and 50. If continuity exists on all circuits, go to next step. If continuity does not exist on any circuit(s), check wiring harness between ground and appropriate PCM connector terminal(s).
- Check voltage between ground and PCM connector A-106 terminal No. 20. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, check wiring harness between battery and PCM connector A-106 terminal No. 20.
- Check PCM connectors. If PCM connectors are okay, replace PCM.
