DTC 149 - Fuel Level Sending Unit Volts Too Low

NOTE: For terminal identification, see TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION  in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS section. For circuit and wire color identification, see WIRING DIAGRAMS - 2.0L - NON-TURBO article.
  1. Check fuel gauge. See the INSTRUMENT PANEL article in the ACCESSORIES/SAFETY EQUIPMENT section. If fuel gauge is okay, go to next step.
  2. Check PCM connectors, junction connectors, fuel gauge sending unit connector and wiring harness between PCM and fuel gauge sending unit. If wiring and connectors are okay, replace PCM.
