Test No. 6
- Check fuse No. 5. Replace as necessary. If fuse is okay, check joint connector (behind combination meter). Repair as necessary. If connector is okay, go to next step.
- Check horn again. If horn works, go to next step. If horn does not work, check diode. Replace as necessary. If diode is okay, check circuit between joint connector terminal No. 1 and diode. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair as necessary.
- Check theft-alarm horn relay. Replace as necessary. If relay is okay, disconnect theft-alarm relay harness connector. Check voltage between ground and harness-side connector terminals No. 1 and 2. If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, go to step 5).
- Check harness connectors to theft-alarm horn, theft-alarm horn relay and joint connectors between theft-alarm horn and relay. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair as necessary. If connectors are okay, check circuit between theft-alarm horn relay and ground. Repair as necessary. If circuit is okay, replace theft-alarm horn.
- Check harness connectors to theft-alarm horn relay and joint connector between junction block and relay. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair as necessary. If connectors are okay, check circuit between theft-alarm horn relay and junction block. Repair as necessary.
