The LIN bus provides the electrical connection between the center console control panel and the heating and air-conditioning system. The control unit relays the signals from the DSC button to the junction box electronics unit (JBE) on the CAN. The JBE then forwards the signals to the DSC on the PT-CAN. Depending on the DSC mode, the indicator light in the instrument panel is switched on. The indicator light shows a skidding vehicle with the labelling "OFF" or only a skidding vehicle.
