Diagnosis instructions
WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2016 MINI Cooper Countryman, 2015 MINI Cooper Countryman, 2014 MINI Cooper Countryman, 2013 MINI Cooper, and 2012 MINI Cooper. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
The following test modules are available for testing components:
- Zero-gear sensor
- Brake vacuum sensor
- Clutch switch
- MSA button (network connection to center console control panel)
- MSA door contact (network connection with FRM)
- DC/DC converter (network connection with JBE)
- MSA power management (information on the onboard electrical system, along with on the last switch-off inhibitor or activation request source, obtained from power management)
The "Read out AV memory" service function can be used to read out the history of the most recently stored switch-off inhibitors.
