33 10... Removing and installing/replacing left or right servomotor

WARNING: Scalding hazard!
This work may only be carried out on an exhaust system which has cooled down.
IMPORTANT: Remove servomotor only after being prompted to do so by diagnosis system.

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Release screws (1) and remove heat shield (2).

Installation: 

Clean thread to remove all remnants of screw securing adhesive.

Make sure wiring harness (3) is correctly seated on rear differential.

Stick in new screws.

Tightening torque 33 11 4AZ .

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Release screws (2) and remove servomotor (3).

Installation: 

Tightening torque 33 11 5AZ .

IMPORTANT: During replacement, only the correct servomotor (left/right) may be fitted!

Installation: 

Replace O-ring (1).
