Warning and indicator lights
On the R56, the legally prescribed indicator lights are divided between the instrument cluster and the auxiliary instrument. The display varies, depending on the model.
The signals from the individual systems are messages on the data bus. The junction box electronics (JBE) relays these messages to the to the auxiliary instrument, via the K-CAN.
