Section 92 (Power Rack & Pinion): Description

These vehicles are equipped with recirculating ball power steering. The housing contains a complete mechanical steering gear. The steering spindle is connected flexibly by way of a torsion bar to the worm and to the valve pistons with no backlash.

Some vehicles are equipped with quick-release couplings on hydraulic lines. For use of these lines see HYDRAULIC LINE WITH QUICK-RELEASE COUPLING  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
