84 21 537 Removing and installing/replacing hands-free charging electronics

Necessary preliminary tasks

Disconnect BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD .
If necessary, remove amplifier . See 65 12 072 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) AMPLIFIER (TOP HIFI SYSTEM) or 65 12 071 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING AMPLIFIER (HIFI SYSTEM) .

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Release screws (2).

Secure hands-free charging electronics (2) against falling out.

Release screws (1).

Disconnect plug connections (1) and remove hands-free charging electronics (2).

Installation:

Make sure wiring harness is correctly laid.

Replacement:

Carry out VEHICLE PROGRAMMING/CODING .
If necessary, log mobile phone on to vehicle.
