Removal & Installation

Generic Electronic Module (GEM) is located behind instrument panel, next to central junction box. See Figure. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove 5 GEM electrical harness connectors. Release locking tab and slide GEM off bracket. To install, reverse removal procedure.
