Removal & Installation

Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove driver's door trim panel. See DOOR TRIM PANEL under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in POWER DOOR LOCKS & TRUNK RELEASE - CROWN VICTORIA & GRAND MARQUIS article. Disconnect harness connectors from DMM. Remove screws. Release locking tab. See Fig 1. Remove driver's door module. To install, reverse removal procedure.
