Power Steering Pressure (PSP) Switch

  1. Disconnect PSP connector at steering gearbox or line. Start engine and allow to idle. Connect DVOM test leads to switch. Continuity should be present when steering wheel is being turned. Continuity should not be present when steering wheel is not being turned. Replace PSP switch if continuity is not as specified.
