GASKETED Windshields: Tools/Material Selection

  1. Select proper windshield and have a spare in case of breakage.
  2. Select the proper replacement gasket. Hidden damage may be found when glass is removed.
  3. Have proper tools and materials available:
    • Rope or piano wire.
    • Lubricant.
    • Eye protection.
    • Suction cups to remove and install the windshield.
    • Shop towels.
    • Cover pads for hood, dashboard and interior.
    • Gloves.
