Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. Position the PLGM (1) to the rear quarter panel for installation.
  2. Insert the alignment mounting tab into the locating slot on the inner quarter panel.
  3. Seat the PLGM against the panel, verifying that the rear alignment mounting tabs (2) are engaged to the panel.

  4. Connect the wire harness connectors (2) to the PLGM (1).
  5. Install the right rear quarter trim panel. Refer to PANEL, QUARTER TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
  7. Perform the liftgate calibration procedure. Refer to POWER LIFTGATE CALIBRATION .
