| 1 | Remove upper engine cover. | ||

| 2 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (1) at intake camshaft Hall sensor (B6/15) | ||
| 3 | Remove screw/bolt (2). | *BA15.10-P-1002-03I | |
| 4 | Remove intake camshaft Hall sensor (B6/15) and seal exposed opening with suitable stop plug. | Fig 2 | |
| 5 | Check sealing ring for damage. | If this is damaged, ↓ replace intake camshaft Hall sensor (B6/15). |

| 6 | Clean contact surfaces at engine and/or intake camshaft Hall sensor (B6/15). | Do not use any sharp-edged tools or abrasive paper. Contact surfaces will otherwise be damaged. |
