Location 

The adaptive damping system control unit is located at left rear in the load compartment.

Tasks 

The adaptive damping system control unit does the following:

Reading in of signals 

The signals are read in by the adaptive damping system control unit over the chassis CAN 1 (CAN E1). The functions that use these signals are described in the individual function descriptions (see the appropriate block diagram or function schematic).

Actuation of components 

The actuation of the components takes place via the following connections:

The following components are actuated via direct lines:

The signals are sent by the adaptive damping system control unit over chassis CAN 1. The functions that use these signals are described in the individual function descriptions (see the appropriate block diagram or function schematic).
