Component Description For Adaptive Damping System Control Unit - GF32.32-P-1010GW
Model 463 as of model year 2016 up to model year 2019 with code A20 (Suspension with Adaptive Damping system)
Location
The adaptive damping system control unit is located at left rear in the load compartment.
Tasks
The adaptive damping system control unit does the following:
- Reading in of signals
- Actuation of components
Reading in of signals
The signals are read in by the adaptive damping system control unit over the chassis CAN 1 (CAN E1). The functions that use these signals are described in the individual function descriptions (see the appropriate block diagram or function schematic).
Actuation of components
The actuation of the components takes place via the following connections:
- Direct line
- Chassis CAN 1
Direct line
The following components are actuated via direct lines:
- Left front axle damping valve unit (Y51)
- Right front axle damping valve unit (Y52)
- Left rear axle damping valve unit (Y53)
- Right rear axle damping valve unit (Y54) Chassis CAN 1
The signals are sent by the adaptive damping system control unit over chassis CAN 1. The functions that use these signals are described in the individual function descriptions (see the appropriate block diagram or function schematic).
