| 2 | Release and disconnect electrical connector on left fuel pressure and temperature sensor (B42/2). | ||
| 3 | Clean rail in area of left fuel pressure and temperature sensor (B42/2). | Absolute cleanliness is essential when working on the high-pressure fuel circuit. Use only lint-free cleaning cloths. Damage will occur otherwise on the high- pressure fuel circuit. |

| 4 | Cover connecting point of left fuel pressure and temperature sensor (B42/2) with suitable rags and carefully loosen left fuel pressure and temperature sensor (B42/2) slightly. | No fuel should flow over the engine. Damage will occur otherwise. |
